One of the more memorable song sung by Whitney Houston was the melodious A Moment In Time.
A portion of the lyrics are: I want one moment in time
When I'm more that I thought I could be
When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away
And the answers are all up to me
Give me one moment in time
When I'm racing with destiny
Then in that one moment of time
I will feel
I will feel eternity Certainly as a singer she had her moment in time and "raced with destiny." Yet, as a fellow human being granted the greatest of all moments in time, life itself, she neglected part of her dreams that were still another heartbeat away.
I am saddened.
